For many people, Egypt is not a travel destination, but a memory.<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Recently, we have once again entered into dialogue with people who traveled to Egypt with us, as well as with people who feel that Egypt calls them<\/strong>. We wanted to better understand what truly attracts them. What makes someone long for Egypt? What happens when you actually walk among the temples? And what remains in your life afterwards?<\/span><\/p>

What strikes us is that for many people, Egypt goes much further than a trip to a special country. It touches something deeper. A memory. A sense of coming home.<\/strong> A longing for a life in which more meaning, ritual, holiness and consciousness<\/strong> is present.<\/span><\/p>

Nostalgia for depth and holiness<\/span><\/h2>

One of the women we spoke to described it as a homesickness for depth and holiness<\/strong>. While reading about ancient Egypt, she felt how much she longed for a world in which rituals, symbolism, and meaning formed a natural part of life. Her greatest desire for a trip to Egypt was very simple: feel and remember<\/strong>. She herself did not yet know exactly what she wanted to remember.<\/span><\/p>

Therein lies something essential. Egypt sometimes opens something before the head understands what is happening.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

We also hear this from people who have already joined us. They talk about moments that have stayed deep within them. An encounter with Sekhmet. A ritual in a temple. The energy of an old floor beneath their feet. A moment in the water. A silence in which something suddenly became palpable.<\/span><\/p>

Sometimes deep emotion was released with that. Sometimes strength. Sometimes peace. Sometimes a inner knowing that is difficult to capture in words<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Every temple touches on something different.<\/span><\/h2>

What recurs time and again is that the different temples each seem to touch something different. You step into a room and you feel something change.<\/strong> As if every place speaks to a different part of you.<\/span><\/p>

For one, that is strength. For another, gentleness. For yet another, memory, grief, longing, or coming home.<\/span><\/p>

Abydos keeps coming back<\/span><\/h3>

One place comes back remarkably often: Abydos.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

For several people, Abydos felt like a place of deep recognition<\/strong>. A place where peace arose, where layers could let go, and where a strong connection with oneself became palpable.<\/span><\/p>

One participant said that she still regularly tunes into Abydos at home and then experiences again the peace and energy she felt there. Another participant said very simply: \u201cAbydos is my home.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

We find that remarkable, because it shows that a trip can have a much longer-lasting effect than the days you are actually in Egypt<\/strong>. A temple or place can become an inner point of reference. Something you return to months or years later. An energy you can feel again. A memory that lives on.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The journey continues when you come home.<\/span><\/h2>

That also comes up often in the conversations: The journey continues when you get home.<\/strong>. <\/span>During the days in Egypt, much is touched upon, and afterwards, the integration begins. Someone told us that the journey took her deeper to her core and that she was able to let go of various layers. Another participant described a major shift in consciousness, connection, and inner strength. Yet another person felt, almost a year later, that the journey was still working within her.<\/span><\/p>

For us, that touches exactly on the way we experience Egypt. The temples open something. They move something. They make something visible.<\/strong> Then life takes over. <\/span>What is touched during a ritual, meditation, or temple visit can unfold further weeks or months later.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Draft needs space<\/span><\/h2>

It also emerges very clearly from the conversations how important room<\/strong> is in it. <\/span>The deeper the experience, the more important it becomes to have time to feel, write, rest, sleep, be alone, and let what has happened sink in. A place of power sets a lot in motion in itself. A ritual can have a profound effect. A temple visit can remain present in your system for hours or days.<\/span><\/p>

That is why we feel increasingly strongly how important the balance between experience, ritual, guidance and integration<\/strong> is.<\/span><\/p>

A lot happens precisely in space.<\/span><\/h3>

For us, a journey needs to be less and less packed. It is precisely in the space that something valuable often emerges. In an unexpected conversation. In a quiet morning. In a moment alone. In a spontaneous encounter. In simply sitting among the stones and feeling what is happening within you.<\/span><\/p>

People seek authenticity<\/span><\/h2>

What people are also looking for is authenticity<\/strong>. <\/span>They want to experience Egypt. Feel the energy. Perform rituals. Encounter the stories and mysteries. Taste the land. Get to know the symbolism. And discover at the same time. which all this awakens within themselves<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>

For some people, that journey begins even before they have ever set foot in Egypt. Suddenly there is a book, a dream, a podcast, a statue, the name of a goddess, an unexpected emotion at a pyramid, or an inexplicable sense of recognition. <\/span>And somewhere deep inside, a movement arises: I want to go there.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Maybe you recognize that call.<\/span><\/h2>

Perhaps you have felt a connection to Egypt for years. Perhaps you still know very little about the temples, Neteru, and mysteries, yet you experience a strange familiarity. Perhaps one place calls to you very strongly. Or perhaps you feel primarily curiosity about what happens when you truly open yourself up to the country.<\/span><\/p>

For us, Egypt has increasingly become a place where travel and inner work coincide<\/strong>. Where the outer and inner worlds meet. Where old stones can touch something living. Where ritual takes on meaning. Where you can experience, feel and remember<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>

And perhaps that is ultimately why Egypt keeps calling out to so many people. <\/span>Because sometimes you encounter something there that has long been present within you.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>
