I will tell you what's on my mind. What else can you write about at the moment than that crazy virus? It seems like everyone can only talk about that these days. It seems like it has to be included in every conversation. I want to be aware of it, but I have decided that I will no longer let it determine my life. For me, it will only stop when we as a collective give a big fat no. No, we are not going to do this anymore! In the past, you could still go to work with a cold. Now you are a life-threatening loose projectile if you have a cold. What is it still about? I have felt a lot of anger about this lately. I have felt a lot of sadness about this. And it frustrates me. All this time I have been able to keep it outside of me and suddenly it was everywhere. As if I am now suddenly allowed to be confronted with it and learn to deal with it in my own way. Last week I was even sick for a whole week. I find it downright ridiculous that you can no longer even be sick without it being immediately labeled. It's true that you sense some frustration here and there. I've decided to just let the frustration be there for once. I also find it challenging at the moment. I'm not allowed to do sports anymore. I should wear a mask when I go back to the supermarket. Many people expect you to get tested when you're sick. Where does it stop? Where do we collectively say no? When can we just be sick again without being seen as life-threatening. I thought it was really shitty that I was sick last week, because I had to cancel all my appointments for the entire week. Not because I thought I would have that crazy virus, but because you just don't make appointments when you're sick. Something we also did before February 2019. If you're sick and you have the flu, you can just stay home and recover. I have an immune system that takes care of me. An immune system that got a wonderful boost last week. Great! That hasn't happened like that in years. I'm grateful for that.\"What's<\/p>\n

And then you have people who say: if you test, you can do everything again for half a year, or a year, I don't know what it is these days. I understand the thoughts. I also understand very well that you can then happily participate in everything again. Only does that take away the problem or is it like a plaster on an open wound? If you take the plaster off, the wound is still there. It doesn't change anything. It doesn't change anything at all. For me, that is still participating and contributing to the new system that they are trying to integrate. That is voting along with the division. Participating in the polarization.<\/p>\n

No room for negotiation yet<\/h2>\n

And what I unfortunately see happening a lot at the moment is that there is (still no) room for negotiation. It is a cut and a jab otherwise you are not allowed to participate. That is how it is and that is how it will be. That already makes my freedom theme jump a mile in the air. That is just not okay for me.<\/p>\n

I personally think that everyone should do what they want. Do you want a shot? Get it. If you think it will do you good, feel free. I will not judge you for it. You are more than welcome at my home. I will give you a big hug when you receive it. Do you not want a shot, for example because you believe in your own immune system and in the strength of your body? Then don't get it. I will not judge you for it. You are more than welcome at my home. And of course I will give you a big hug when you receive it.<\/p>\n

But don't tell me I'm unsafe for you when you've already had three shots to protect yourself and you're wearing your mask so neatly and I'm not. You have your protection. It should protect you regardless of the choices I make.<\/p>\n

Feel free to test if you want to come to me or to an event that I organize. Also feel free not to. I have made the choice to no longer participate, because in my experience it stops if we all say no. That does not mean that you have to believe this too. You have your own free choice in this and I will accept it. Even though I feel angry, sad and frustrated about what is happening on earth now. I will accept your choice. You have your own path to walk just like I do. When we let each other free in each other's choice and accept each other in this, then we can grow further. And let us give each other the freedom to express this. To be allowed to make mistakes. To be allowed to learn. It is new to all of us in a certain sense. It invites us to discover new ways. Like playing a game.<\/p>\n
